Annual sale of postcards individually designed by artists, including current postgrad RCA students and world-famous names. The identity of the artist responsible for each postcard is kept secret until after the card has been bought, so you could find you?ve bought a Sam Taylor-Wood original, or something by Grayson Perry, Julian Opie or David Hockney, for ?35. Or you might wind up with an early work by a future star of the art world. From Friday to November 24 it?s viewing only; the sale days are November 25 and 26. If you?re planning to buy, be prepared to make a bit of an effort; keen art buffs have been known to queue for several nights. You can buy up to five postcards, but you have to go along in person. Proceeds go to the RCA student fund.
