Directed by Lisa Jackson, a victim of rape herself, "The Greatest Silence" illustrates the effects of the conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that has lasted for the past 11 years. The film focuses on the prevalence of sexual violence in the DRC and the use of rape as a weapon of war.

The screening will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session led by members of the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition. The event is free and open to the community. Fundraiser t-shirts will be on sale for a discounted price and donations are appreciated. All proceed go to the HEAL Africa Hospital which treats Congolese victims of sexual violence and the war.
