Raymond Loewy was among the most prominent industrial designers during the 20th century. Spending over five decades streamlining and modernizing silverware and fountain pens, supermarkets and department stores, automobiles and airplanes, Loewy designed the color scheme and logo for Air Force One, the John F. Kennedy memorial stamp, the Greyhound Scenicruiser, and the interiors for NASA's Skylab. Clients included Coca-Cola, Exxon, Lucky Strike cigarettes, Frigidaire appliances and the 1963 Avanti for Studebaker. This exhibit is organized by the Hagley Museum and Library in Wilmington, Delaware.
