Open air concerts are the epitome of summer and what better place to soak it all in than at the Shops at Don Mills, where fashion, dining and entertainment come outside to play. The Town Square, nestled in the heart of the shopping centre, will provide daily entertainment including Raoul and The Big Time on Tuesday, June 26 at 7:00pm.
Raoul and The Big Time, performed their first show in the back room of the legendary Queen Street West haunt The Cameron House in 1998. Since that time they have released four recordings, been named Best Toronto Blues Artist by NOW Magazine and are Maple Blues Award winners. They have performed all over the country including Montreal Jazz, Vancouver Folk and Ottawa Blues Festivals and with a number of blues legends including Bettye LaVette, Colin James, Billy Branch and Curtis Salgado. The Big Time has been featured extensively nationwide on CBC radio, have made a number of television appearances and their music has been used in several feature films.
One of North America’s premier jazz festivals, the TD Toronto Jazz Festival attracts over 500,000 loyal patrons and features more than 350 performances with over 1,500 musicians performing at approximately 40 locations around Toronto.
