A social and political satire written by Harishankar Parsai. It is the journey of a romantic affair in a classical "love at first sight" tale of Rajkumar Asthbaan and Rani Naagphani. Ironically they meet for the first time at a "Suicide Center" as they are not happy with their lives (Rajkumar has not been able to pass his B.A exam for the fourth time and Rani has been able to find a lover who can die for her). Hence they fall in love and as in any usual love stories they face many hurdles, and the hurdles bring to light the political and social evils through characters and comments made by them.
