Since his first recording over 50 years ago, legendary composer and pianist Ramsey Lewis has flourished, counting 3 GRAMMY awards, five honorary doctorates, and a prestigious Jazz Masters Award from the National Endowment for the Arts among his numerous accolades. In a Bistro exclusive, Ramsey Lewis brings his new, five-piece electric band to St. Louis in concerts that will revisit the grooves and tunes of Mr. Lewis’ great 1974 cross-over gold recording, Sun Goddess. Expect a soul-stirring evening of Ramsey Lewis standards and new compositions.
