Rakim is universally recognized as one of the greatest - if not THE greatest - MCs of all time. He's your favorite rapper's favorite rapper. An MC who not only innovated but also originated.
As one half of the duo Eric B & Rakim, he instantly set the bar with the release of their debut single "Eric B Is President" and built on that reputation with the release of classic record after classic record.
