Raising Monarchs July 26, 2012

Learn how to raise a monarch butterfly caterpillar from egg to adult, identify their milkweed food and take home caterpillars to raise for the August 'Monarch Butterfly Festival.' This will be a mostly sit-down inside program on how to raise monarch butterflies. Hands-on experience with monarch eggs, caterpillars and butterflies will be a part of the program. A short walk of 200 feet or so to find milkweed will be the only outdoor component.
