The annual Rainbows Festival is an urban street fair and festival to celebrate the great diversity of Phoenix. This celebration is held each year in downtown Phoenix in Heritage Square Park and the surrounding streets. It is located near 7th Street & Monroe, just two blocks north of Chase Field.
This is the largest gay/lesbian event in the state of Arizona. It is an opportunity for the gay/lesbian community and their friends to celebrate the diversity of the Phoenix community.
The streets inside the Heritage Square Park and the surrounding areas are filled with nearly 200 exhibitors promoting their business and organizations to the gay/lesbian community. The street fair opens at 10am and closes at about 6pm.
There is also an exciting international food court and dining area set up in the street fair.
The street fair also winds into the grassy park areas of Heritage Square Park.
The Rainbows Festival is a free admission event.
