Nationally touring indiefolksinger Raina Rose comes to Reno, Sunday June 28. Rose sings folk-borne Americana songs of long travels, fictional characters, time that plays tricks and the tricks governments play. Her vocal tone and tenor recalls that of popular breakout singer Amber Rubarth. The artist serves up a brave and heartbreaking brew of fingerpicking, flatpicking and feather voiced stories. Thanks to the campfires of the Kerrville Folk Festival, Raina found the draw of the Austin, TX music community too strong and now calls the Live Music Capital of the World home. Rose was a 2007 Kerrville New Folk Finalist, received honorable mention in the 2006 Telluride Troubador Competition and played the High Sierra Music festival in '06 and '07.

Raina Rose is touring in support of her amazing self released album "End of Endless False Starts" and joins some of Reno's finest acoustic talents including Jonie Blinman & The Muckrackers, The Sturdy Beggars, Ryan James, Sage Heart and Carissa Warman in a unique evening of live entertainment. The format will be one of the interesting highlights of the event, as the artists rotate in 3 song sets, keeping the flow fresh and the energy of their exceptional music high spirited.

Suggested donation is $7 and artist's music and merchandise will be available for purchase. Host Se7en on West will have Mojito drink specials and their normal offering of fantastic imported and domestic brews on tap.

Don't miss unique this musical event.
