People who work around railroad tracks have developed several methods of communicating with each other. The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is offering a summer class for children ages 7 – 12 on Wednesday, June 23 from 10am – noon. Learn Lantern Lingo, Morse Code, and Hobo Hieroglyphics. Use an authentic Santa Fe telegraph key to send Morse Code messages, and find out how hobos send messages to each other by playing the Hobo Hieroglyphics Game. Pre-registration is required at least one day in advance, and class size is limited to 10 students.
Please R.S.V.P. by calling Joanne at 647-4480.
The museum is located at 351 N. Mesilla Street, at the intersection of Las Cruces Ave.
