Experience the magic and take a stroll back through time at the 12th Annual Ragley Heritage and Timber Festival. Opening ceremony will be at the Ragley Historical Square. There will be Cookbooks, Ragley Books, Veterans’ Books, Early Settlers, Vol. I and II, and Glimpses of the Past Books available for purchase. There will be train rides, fun jumps, 5 in 1 obstacle course, sports bounce with basketball goal, face painting, spinning and weaving, quilting, jewelry making, corn grinding demos, antique tractors,cars and buggies on display.You will be able to enjoy turnip greens, sausage on a stick, homemade chili, fried fish, brisket sandwiches, nachos, pizza, homemade sweets, funnel cakes, cotton candy, snow cones, and more.There will be a silent auction, cake auction, and craft booths for everyone to enjoy.You will want to hear the bands and singing. Performing will be the Mike Taylor Band and the Ramblin’ Cajuns. There will be a “Decorated Wagon” Parade for the children beginning at 1:00 p.m. Admission to the festival is $5.00 per car.
