Ragas and Bhajans Faculty Recital - Vocalist Laxmi G. Tewari November 13, 2010

Hindustani vocalist Laxmi G. Tewari will perform classical Northern Indian music accompanied by an ensemble playing tabla, tambura and harmonium. An SSU music professor since 1974, Tewari is a leading ethnomusicologist with an exemplary body of work on Indian, Buddhist, Arabian and Gamelan music.
