Camelford Branch of the Royal British Legion. will hold an Armed Forces Day parade at the Davidstow Airfield and Cornwall at War Museum.
Additionally, for the whole weekend WWII Re-enactment South West (http://www.wwiireenactmentsouthwest.co.uk/) will provide additional living history and weapon displays at the museum. Also a rare WW2 German Goliath demolition tank will be displayed.
On Sunday only: PARADE TIMETABLE
1330 - All participants on site. The Cornwall ATC Corps of Drums and Camelford Junior Band will be in attendance and playing.
1400 - March past, Wreath laying, inspection by the Commanding Officer of 824 Naval Air Squadron based at Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose(approx 30 minutes total)
1430 - Official Opening of the newly re-built RAF Davidstow Officers Mess. ( Under construction )
On completion - Light refreshments available at modest cost.
Museum free to Veterans wearing Vets / RBL badge, Serving military and cadets in uniform also get in free and participants in parade. Normal admission fee to others.
