The Trans-Communication Lab is the closing event in the Radio Gallery series of events and radio programmes, curated by Anna Colin, which examine radio as exhibition space. The event reverses the overall concept of Radio Gallery by re-imagining physical space as radio and setting up a 90 minute 'broadcast environment' in which a host of artists, researchers and journalists investigate and demonstrate live attempts at 'interdimensional' communication. These include Electronic Voice Phenomena, 'hidden messages' in Apollo 15 space recordings and a range of other sounds. The event will simultaneously address its physical audience at the venue while also being broadcast on Resonance FM.

Curators Lina Dzuverovic (Electra) and Carl Michael Von Hausswolff whose artistic practice has for many years investigated EVP (electronic voice phenomena), through the work of Friedrich Jurgenson, a Swedish researcher and artist known for his remarkable documentation of sounds from 'the other side', will be joined by a number of guests including Jon Ronson: a writer and documentary film maker who's first book, 'Them: Adventures With Extremists', was an international bestseller.
