The 18th Annual Radio 92.9 EarthFest will return to DCR’s Hatch Memorial Shell in Boston on May 21st, 2011 with a stellar line-up that includes LIVE’s Ed Kowalczyk, OK Go, Sponge and Atomic Tom. Presented by Whole Foods Market the free festival is a celebration for the Earth, showcasing national and local music acts, environmentally friendly products and local non-profit environmental organizations. Radio 92.9’s EarthFest is produced in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
In addition to the musical performances on the main stage, the Radio 92.9 EarthFest will also include music in Kids’ Planet – an expanded interactive family area. Kids’ Planet will feature performances from Sarah Wheeler & Little Groove, RhymeZweLL, Vanessa Trien & the Jumping Monkeys and student performers from Zumix. Performances at Kid’s Planet begin at 10 am. In addition to the musical performances, Kid’s Planet will feature environmental activities, educational displays and other activities.
