Fresno, CAs Rademacher have just announced their NW Summer tour dates. They will be touring the west coast in support of their most recent EP release, Heart Machine, which is available for sale on the group's myspace.

The group recently finished recording a full-length, Stunts, at The Ship Studio (myspace.com/theshipstudios) with Aaron Espinoza of Earlimart. The record will be released via itunes September 18th and will be in a record store near you soon after.

The tour dates are:

7.05.07 - Fresno, CA - Tokyo Garden
7.06.07 - Sacramento, CA - Old Ironsides
7.08.07 - Seattle, WA - Comet Tavern
7.09.07 - Portland, OR - Tiger Bar
7.11.07 - Salt Lake City - Kilby Court
7.12.07 - Reno, NV - XOXO Bar

A studio with humble beginnings, The Ship was assembled by Earlimart and a handful of friends and has since hosted its share of indie-rock royalty. The Breeders, Folk Implosion, and Elliott Smith are among those who have trekked to an industrial part of Eagle Rock to record.

Rademacher recorded their first EP in their Grandmother's living room in 2005. They have since recorded two other EPs at their own studio in Fresno, Ice Age and Heart Machine, toured nationally and shared the stage with national acts like the Silversun Pickups, Cold War Kids and Man Man.

Fueled by the smog, traffic and double-digit unemployment in the Central Valley, the group has been cultivating a unique take on post-indie rock and have received favorable reviews from bloggers and complimentary comparisons to Pavement, Earlimart and the Talking Heads. Rademacher are releasing Stunts this Fall.

Rademacher has developed a strong foundation on non-commercial and internet radio stations as well, with airplay and segments on KFSR Fresno (www.kfsr.org), BAGEL RADIO San Francisco (www.bagelradio.com) and LITTLE RADIO Los Angeles (www.nofiradio.com).

A FEW CRITICAL OPINIONS REGARDING RADEMACHER:

"...conjure up Karen O, Julian Casablancas, and Tom Waits all happily coexisting, swinging on a porch swing in the sun or sliding down a slide, whatever. Got 'em all floating around in your head? 'Kay, you can open your eyes now. Open your ears too, and go out and hear Rademacher."

-- San Francisco Bay Guardian

"Reminiscent of Pavement, Flaming Lips and The Palace Brothers, the band's sound is organic and alternately sparse and orchestral..."

-- Mesh Magazine

"...enjoyable sinisterness..."
