The National Philharmonic Chorale presents an all "a cappella" program, featuring one of the great masterpieces of Russian sacred music - Rachmaninoff's Vespers. Praised as one of the composer’s finest achievements, the Vespers was written in 1915 for the All-Night Easter Vigil ceremony for the Russian Orthodox Church. It is widely considered a jewel of the choral repertoire.
