Rachmaninoff: Symphonic Dances February 7, 2007

Music Director emeritus Andrew Litton returns to the Meyerson to conduct what many regard as Rachmaninoff's finest work, his 'Symphonic Dances.' This piece was the composer's final work and is both moving and emotional. Also on the program, Goldmark's 'Violin Concerto in A Minor,' featuring renowned guest violinist Hilary Hahn. R. Strauss' 'Suite from Der Rosenkavalier' completes the program.
