Rachel Platten is no stranger to the spotlight. After a life-changing experience in Trinidad performing, by fluke, in front of 100,000 screaming fans at the Trinidad Soca Monarch Finals, she returned to her native Boston and recorded her first record, Trust in Me. The songs on her debut release won her Best New Artist and Vocalist at the Harvard Advocate Music Awards and went into rotation on college radio. Also appearing, Nick Howard.
