Race for the Soul (4th Annual) - From Ohio to Haiti September 18, 2010

People are suffering throughout the world. Race for the Soul exists to reach people close to home and abroad, and this year we partner with Better Way and Surgance to make an impact on lives close to home in Columbus Ohio, and lives 1,600 miles away in Haiti.
100% of the entry fees go to this year’s beneficiaries:

FROM OHIO - Better Way Ministries is a street ministry and mission work founded by Steve Campbell and his wife, Wanda. Better Way stands as a place of hope to homeless and poor in the Short North area of the Columbus inner city. Race for the Soul is the only fund-raising event of the year for Better Way. TO HAITI - Surgance (www.surgance.com) - The Surgance mission is to channel uncommon partners toward common ground social issues in order to change lives and transform communities for the better. Through Race for the Soul, Surgance will provide relief for a Haitian family with local ties. Click here to learn more.

This year's change in venue provides us with the opportunity to offer a variety of participation options:

* 1 mile walk - pets welcome!
* 1 mile roll (bike / rollerblade / wheelchair - ADA Accessible)
* 5k run
