Race for the Cure @ Laughing at the Sun Art Gallery June 5, 2009

Laughing at the Sun has signed up to be a apart of the Relay for Life. The relay is going to take place on August 28, 2009 @ Hadley Field in Las Cruces from 6:00 pm until 10:00 am the following morning. If you would like to be part of the this event please sign up or go the website. Several of your artist partners are participating and will be happy to take your donations, including spare change in the collection bucket at the gallery...Our June 5th and 6th opening will be co-hosted by Greta Burger and Rudy Lucero. In addition three of the Relay for Life teams are joining up to sponsor a benefit art show. We are working to get all the open spaces at the Old Tortilla Factory donated to host this show and are planning to have the entire building be part of this benefit...Rudy and Greta have already agreed to donate a percentage of their opening sales to the Relay. I am asking all the artists to do a 50/50 split on any art that will be sold in the month of June....This is a one time shot and all those who have been touched by cancer in some way would greatly appreciate you support.
