Quest Theatre Auditions - ALL SHOOK UP ages13-21 April 3, 2009

ALL SHOOK UP is a comic send-up of Elvis movies. It tells the story of a square little town in the middle of a square little decade where a lonely young girl dreams of hitting the open road. Into her life rides a guitar-playin' roustabout who changes everything and kick-starts a hip-swivelin', lip-curlin' musical fantasy. Built around Elvis Presley’s biggest hit songs, the show combines plot twists from Shakespeare with zany characters and a whole lotta shakin’!
Open calls are on a first come, first served basis.

Please come prepared with approximately 16 bars of an uptempo show tune. An accompanist will be provided but bring your own sheet music with cuts clearly marked, and in the proper key. You will be asked to dance or read at the open calls, but if the artistic staff wishes to see you again for a “call back” you will know after the audition and will be handed an information sheet. No roles are precast …all roles are open.There is a fee to be in the program.
