Skip the gym and volunteer with Quesada Gardens Initiative this Saturday! Volunteering with QGI means getting your hands dirty while meeting neighbors and improving our community one garden at a time. In return for your help with our gardens, our crew of professional gardeners and horticulturists are here to answer any questions you may have about gardening in San Francisco.
THIS WEEK: Final weekend of mulching at Palou Garden!
We provide snacks, drinks, lunch, and a great gardening workout! We also provide tools and gloves, but it is recommended you wear long pants and sturdy shoes (no flip-flops).
Check us out on www.QuesadaGardens.org or on Facebook: "Quesada Gardens".

If you have an accessible vacant lot near your home that needs some TLC, find a few neighbors to help and we can work with you in creating the next Quesada Gardens project in your neighborhood!
Quesada Garden Initiative is a community non-profit organization that started in 2002 as a way for residents on the 1700 block of Quesada Ave to take back their street from drug dealers and trash-dumpers. It has grown to include nine community gardens and a total of thirty projects throughout the Bayview.
