Pianist and Composer Quentin Kim is performing his Debut Recital at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City. For this evening, Mr. Kim will be performing his own piano sonata along with sonatas by Schumann and Beethoven.
Hailed by critic as "the most charming...vivid, observant artist with personality, wit, buoyancy and affection", Mr. Kim has performed at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, Salle Cortot in Paris and the United Nations among others. Mr. Kim has won the first prize from the Grace Welsh International Prize for Piano and the Joong Ang Music Concours of Korea.
Mr. Kim's latest piano album "Romantic Tales" has received a review from American Record Guide as "warmth that is always engaging".
