Quarter auction

A quarter auction will be held Friday at the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Company Hall, 4 S. Broadview Blvd.

Admission is $2. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; the auction game will begin at 7 p.m.

Food items will be sold.

Ten different direct sales consultants have provided gifts valued between $10 and $100. Each participant will receive a bidding paddle with a number when they arrive. Participants can choose which prizes they want to bid on. After the bidding is closed, the auctioneer pulls winning numbers.

Door prizes also will be awarded.
