Chicago area music fans can experience one of the biggest names in Greek rock: Pyx Lax, with the only Midwest performance on their North American tour taking place March 9 at the House of Blues. Pyx Lax is one of the most commercially successful bands in Greek rock, with three gold albums, five platinum albums and an international fan base. Over the years the band has collaborated with a number of prominent musicians, including Sting. Originally formed in 1989, the band dissolved in 2004 and went on hiatus. Last year their much-anticipated reunion tour began in Greece, highlighted by a crowd of over 75,000 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.
