Pyaasa -India celebrates 60 years of independence, but the unjust caste system still affects millions of Hindus' lives.
The unforgettable one-woman show, Pyaasa, is the story of an eleven-year old Untouchable girl named Chaya. As the daughter of a toilet cleaner, Chaya learns at a young age the realities of an “untouchable life” and is forced to confront the consequences of her caste.
