In this engaging and enlightening workshop you’ll learn about: the synergy between evaluation and program/project planning | engaging your stakeholders in an evaluation process | building an evaluation team | crafting evaluation questions | and evaluation method options.
This is a participatory workshop that will be designed around your evaluation needs. Come prepared to go in depth about your project or program evaluation with the workshop leaders and a group of your peers.

How do I set up a monitoring system?
What kinds of questions should my evaluation answer?

WORKSHOP PRESENTERS
Jamie Gamble is the founder and principal of the New Brunswick based consulting company, Imprint Inc. Jamie has an extensive background in designing and delivering consulting projects in a variety of areas including strategy, organizational change and evaluation. Jamie holds a Masters of Management Degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec where he graduated from the highly-regarded McGill-McConnell Program. His high proficiency in group process and facilitation has earned him acclaim from the numerous groups he has worked with.
Jess Abramson is the Coordinator of the Clean Air Partnership – Greenest City – Ontario Trillium Foundation Evaluation Project. Jess is an energetic and creative facilitator with extensive experience in adult education and social/environmental justice work. As an evaluator, Jess has consulted with various environmental organizations to build staff capacity around, design, and implement evaluations. Her propensity for critical analysis, participatory research, and inquiry is due in part to her education at Dalhousie University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies.

This workshop is designed for people working or volunteering in environmental and conservation nonprofit organizations. If you are not but would still like to participate, please email Jess Abramson at the above address.
Registration is $95 and is due two weeks prior. Payment can be made over the phone by credit card through calling Stephen Geigen-Miller at (416) 392-6672 or by cheque payable to Clean Air Partnership (mail to Clean Air Partnership 75 Elizabeth St. Toronto, ON, M5G 1P4). Receipts will be provided on site.
The workshop will take place at the Centre for Social Innovation at 215 Spadina Ave., Suite 128 in downtown Toronto. It is located on Spadina Avenue, north of Queen Street and south of Dundas Street, at the street lights at Sullivan Street. It is easily accessible from the Spadina subway station by street car going south on Spadina Avenue or a streetcar and a short walk from Osgoode subway station at University and Queen. A sign in the lobby will direct you to the room, which is located in the back half of the ground floor.
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Breakfast will be served at 8:30 am. Please bring literature on your work (e.g. organizational and program brochures, business cards) as a display table will be provided and there will be time for networking.
REFUND POLICY
A full refund will be given for cancellations received with more than 5 business days notice. Cancellations received within 5 business days of the session can expect a fifty percent refund to cover the cost of administration associated with your registration and catering.
