More than 200 pedigreed cats from around the nation will spend New Years 2010 competing in the Catalina Cats and Crown City Cat Clubs Cat Show on Saturday, January 2, 2010 and Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Alexis Park Hotel and Resort ballroom located at 375 E. Harmon, Las Vegas, Nevada. Show hours are Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 4pm. Fancy felines from around the country will have the opportunity to earn Top Cat status each day. The lists of competitors include American Shorthair, Abyssinians and Sphinx as well as the more well-known breeds like Siamese, Persian and Maine Coon. There is also a judging category for Household Pets. This is the first CFA Cat Show in 2010. The show is open to the public and will provide an entertaining day for all cat lovers and cat loving families. In addition to the judging activities, which will take place throughout the show, spectators will have the opportunity to see cats up close and personal and breeders can answer questions about their cats. Vendors with just about everything cat will be there with cat t-shirts, teasers, art, knickknacks, cat toys and cat furniture. The Las Vegas SPCA will be on-site with pet adoptions those looking to acquire a cat and those looking for companions for their family. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and military. Family Admission for a family of 4 is $20. Receive $1 off admission if you bring a cat food donation to the Las Vegas SPCA.
