"Puppy Love" Valentine's Day Social at Generation Dog February 14, 2008

Tired of sitting home on Valentine's Day because your better half has four legs and barks? Or maybe you have a hot date but feel guilty leaving lovable barker at home? Well this year, come to the Valentine's Day Social sponsored by Generation Dog, It's Just Lunch, SoHo Sweets and Birmingham Magazine and make sure your furry family isn't left out of the love fest.

You and your well-behaved pooch can meet other dog lovers, indulge in some decadent delights from SoHo Sweets. There will be plenty of puppy safe treats on hand for the canines and we'll have special "Puppy Love Punch" and yummy nibbles for our two-legged friends. Fabulous door prizes available and the first 25 attendees will receive special "Puppy Love" swag bags with goodies from our sponsors and select Generation Dog vendors, including Love Your Pet Bakery, Grandma Lucy's and Zuke's Natural Treats.

Anyone who fills out an It's Just Lunch profile at the event will receive a $200 discount towards membership. Last but not least, don't pass up the opportunity to have your picture made with your dog in front of a festive Valentine's Themed Back-drop. All proceeds from the sale of pictures, as well as 10% of all Generation Dog boutique sales that night, will benefit the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
