Pulp Non-Fiction: The Making of Paper January 26, 2010

The VMFA Book Club presents "Pulp Non-Fiction: The Making of Paper" with artist Rachel Sawan White at 6 p.m. in the Pauley Center.

The program is presented in conjunction with an exploration of the novel "A Sense of Paper" by author Taylor Holden, which is the club's January selection.

The talk will explore the methods of making artistic papers and offer a viewing of 14 drawings by J.M.W. Turner from the museum's collection. A discussion of the novel will follow.
