The DFW Pug Rescue is hosting its largest event of the year, PUG-O-WEEN 2011, on Sunday, October 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center. Last year we had over 1,000 people and 500 pugs attend the event!
This year, we will host a costume contest, bake sale, silent auction with merchandise and gift certificates from DFW businesses, professional photography with Halloween background, discounted nail clippings and ear cleaning, food, drinks, and much more. Costumes are not required and all friendly, non-aggressive dogs are welcome! $5 online registration at www.dfwpugs.com or $7 at the door.
DFW Pug Rescue Club is the largest pug rescue in the nation. It was established in 1997 and has rescued and placed more than 5,000 lovable pugs in wonderful homes. Our vet bills will reach almost $300,000 this year since we rescue ALL pugs regardless of age or medical condition, so 100% of the event proceeds will go towards our vet bills.
