Public Speaking Skills (for Stage 6): Don't Let Speaking Tasks Let You Down December 9, 2012

All HSC courses have embedded in their assessment schemes, oral presentations. Often it is in these tasks that perfectly competent students fare badly. Public speaking remains the key phobia for so many people. Marc Rader is a respected coach of presentation skills. In his Summer School course, he will introduce students to a wide range of time-tested rhetorical techniques to improve their public communication. The earlier students acquire these skills, the better prepared they are for Year 11 and 12 school assessment. This course suits perfectly students about to enter Years 9, 10, 11 and 12. These skills retain life-long value - vital to tertiary studies and the world of work beyond the classroom. This course is suitable for students in Years 8 to 11.
