Designed to teach pre-school and kindergarten age children about our planet, solar system and what it takes to be an astronaut. Weather & Seasons ~ What is your favorite season? The earth and its relationship to the sun have control over our seasons. When do you think the earth is closest to the sun? Join the Challenger's Future Space Explorers as we investigate a new space science theme each month. The workshop series is designed for a preschool child and their parent, to add proficiency to the parent/child learning repertoire. Each workshop includes story-time, a thematic science activity and play structured by the week's themes. Workshop activities are planned for age level appropriate science with the added parent involvement to help nurture the child's natural curiosity.
