"Stars"--Every star has a story. Some are as old as time, faint and almost forgotten. Others burn bright and end their lives in powerful explosions. New stars are created every day, born of vast clouds of gas and dust. Through every phase of their existence, stars release the energy that powers the Universe. Journey to the furthest reaches of our galaxy and experience both the awesome beauty and destructive power of STARS. Narrated by Mark Hamill, and "California Skies"--will explore the skies above Stockton in this classic planetarium presentation. This live presentation covers the stars, constellations, any visible planets, and any current astronomical events. This show changes from season to season to reflect the current nighttime sky. The show may also include the mythology of the constellations, a tour of the solar system, or a view of some of the deep sky objects.
