6th Annual Taste of Asia Festival
Date: Saturday, June 28 & Sunday, June 29, 2008

Location: Kennedy Road and Steeles Ave. and Market Village Shopping Centre
The 6th Annual Taste of Asia Festival, which is Canada's largest Asian Festival features:
• 3 Stages of Entertainment
• Surprise Guest Performer
• Car Show
• Over 100 Asian Food Booths
• York Region Health Fair
• Free Raffles and Prizes
Admission is FREE and will attract 70,000 visitors over two days.
Over 100 Basketball Teams will participate in one of the largest street basketball tournaments in the GTA.
Free shuttle service from the Markham Civic Centre to the Festival.
The purpose of the Taste of Asia Festival is to promote the multicultural mosaic of Canada and create harmony between different ethnic groups through an event of mutual respect and co-operation.
Hosted by the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham (FCCM), and the Association of Progressive Muslims of Ontario (APMO), in cooperation with the Town of Markham.
