Psychosocial Support Group March 17, 2009

METAMORPHOSIS CLUB is a psychiatric survivor/consumer self-help group associated with MindFreedom International, Inc. MFI is the only organization of its kind that is designated by the United Nations as a non-governmental organization (NGO) with Consultative Roster Status. MC focuses on achieving human rights within mental health care systems and on mental health education. Dangers of ECT use and the forced drugging of patients are covered. All adults are welcome. The group meets 7:00pm, monthly, the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at the Watts Street Baptist Church, 2nd Floor, in Durham, N.C. Meetings are free and are open without prior reservations.
