"Through the Red & Blue Looking Glass: The Psychology of the Contemporary American Culture War", with Professor Peter Ditto, Chair of the Department of Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine.
His expertise is in human judgment and decision making, with research focusing on 'hot cognition' - how our motivations and emotions shape (and often bias) our social, moral, medical, political, and legal judgments.
Prof. Ditto's current work examines the intersection of moral and political psychology and focuses on understanding the psychological and social dynamics underlying political partisanship and the contemporary American red-state / blue-state 'culture war.'
