This GRC activity assurance training will help attendees understand the internal audit requirements and tools and also provide tips on how to choose a GRC reporting mechanism to ensure GRC capability of an organization.
Why Should You Attend:
Often, in smaller and mid-sized organizations, the internal audit activity may not be independent and objective enough. This raises a number of serious questions such as: Are internal audits capable of providing assurance on GRC capabilities? How far is too far before internal audit is no longer independent and objective? What skills are necessary for an auditor to effectively audit GRC capabilities? Do they have those skills within their internal audit activity or do they require the use of outside specialists? Are there any standard audit procedures or best-practices and internal audit activity can use in auditing these activities?
The objective of this training is to provide attendees with the basic knowledge necessary to help them answer these questions and learn how to efficiently audit the GRC capability across the organization. The Open Compliance and Ethics Group’s (OCEG) GRC Capability Framework and related GRC Assessment Tools are an effective and efficient way to provide assurance to the GRC capability of any organization.
This webinar will also provide attendees with an understanding of how to report on GRC activities to management, the board, and external third-parties - including how to have a GRC capability, or portion there-of, certified by Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG).
This webinar also explains the process for certification from GRC Certify, a non-profit affiliate of OCEG for those interested in being certified as GRC Auditors.
