San Diego Second Chance is one of the largest and most successful STRIVE (Support and Training Results In Valuable Employees) affiliates in the world, helping change the lives of some of the most “difficult-to-serve” populations in the region, including at-risk youth, the homeless, recovering addicts, and former prisoners reentering the community. Since its inception in San Diego in 1998 we completed 153 classes with over 4,000 economically disadvantaged individuals graduating from our nationally recognized STRIVE job readiness training program.
