In this event artist and educator, Jessa Huebing-Reitinger uses insect and arachnid specimens under a microscope to create large-scale, fine detailed, paintings while visitors observe the entire process. Her husband, James Huebing-Reitinger, educates the public with humorous storytelling including fascinating facts about arthropods, and also creates hand painted bug tattoos for the younger visitors. The paintings and live performances are accompanied with an insect collection, microscopes, documentaries, and interactive dialogue.
