Project IDEA Kids Conquers Summer Blues and Boredom June 4, 2012

Project IDEA Kids introduces 20 fun-filled summer break camps for all ages at the new inner-loop location.

Five through 8-year-olds (known at the IDEA Lab as Mites and Sparks) can choose from a selection of age appropriate camps such as Candy Factory, iRock, Kitchen Chemistry and BOOM! SPLAT! KABOOM! offered throughout the entire summer.

Nine through 12-year-olds (Inventors and Innovators) will enjoy more advanced camps honing future career skills such as Fashion Design Institute, Ready, Camera, Action, and a Millionaire’s Workshop. And for those who can’t get enough of Harry Potter, Hogwarts Express and Camp Half-Blood are available for little wizards to attend.

A state of the art facility mixed with math, science and creativity modules provide learning and fun for children and young teens. Lunch and snacks are offered daily with a make-your-own ice cream bar during the Friday Camper Showcase. The IDEA Lab hosts summer camps until 6:30 p.m. to accommodate working parents.
