We would like to let you know that we are officially starting the fundraising print sale this week. Our website is updated with images of the prints for sale.

The prints for the print sale are photographs made by Tsuyoshi. His 8x10 and 7x17 images are printed with platinum/palladium on a fine art paper. Platinum/Palladium printing is a hand-coating process where a printer mixes platinum and palladium solution and brushes it on a fine art paper. The prices are $260 and $360 with over mat respectively. Images of the prints are available online, and you can place an order via the online order form.
In addition, in order to kick off the fundraiser, we are hosting a launch party with a silent auction this Saturday, 5 - 7 pm. Students at Project Basho and notable photographers like Andrea Modica, Shelby Lee Adams, and others are contributing their prints and books for a silent auction. These items are reasonably priced. If you are looking for some photographs for your wall or for a holiday gift, this would be a great occasion.
The party is open to anyone who is interested in seeing our facility, learning about what we are about, and participating in the fundraiser. There will be complimentary food and drinks at the party, which are partially donated by local stores like Quince on Girard Ave. Please RSVP if you are interested in coming to the party.
The proceeds from the silent auction and print sale will finance the second phase of construction at the studio. This phase will add a lecture room where nationally and internationally recognized photographers will be invited to offer lectures to the local community in Philadelphia and beyond.
We hope you will support our fundraising efforts by participating in the print sale and silent auction. Also, if you could forward this message to people who may be interested, that would be appreciated as well.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. We hope to see you at the launch party on the 9th, and thank you for your continued support.
