The University of Teesside and leading entertainment production company Endemol are delivering an intensive, high level skills course in practical TV production.
The Skillset and One North East funded course will be based at the University’s campus in Middlesbrough. It is open to all graduates and new industry entrants who can demonstrate academic qualifications and/or practical production and technical proficiency in programme making.
Participants will be briefed by production staff from Endemol on new content for an established, high-profile client. Endemol is behind some of the biggest hit TV shows in the UK including Big Brother, Total Wipeout and Deal or No Deal.
Working in small teams, they will complete and deliver this material during the five day course for ultimate broadcast on various public platforms. On successful completion they will receive credits and copies of their work for CVs and showreels, as well as a UCAPD (Masters) award from the University of Teesside.
Taking place from Tuesday 14th – Saturday 18th April, the course will be delivered and supported by Mentors and Producers from Endemol, as well as University of Teesside staff.
