From identifying common grammatical errors to applying the mechanics of proper manuscript mark-up, you'll become familiar with standard publishing procedures commonly used to finalize magazine, book, and Internet publications. Hands-on exercises and copious real world, behind-the-scenes publishing anecdotes will help you answer the question: is proofreading for me? We'll also discuss how to find proofreading projects, successfully secure a client base, and even explore how to begin marketing yourself in this difficult economy.
