Fall 2009, St. Leo University students had the opportunity to network with community professionals, learn individual industry skills to better position themselves to get hired, gain valuable tips on how to market themselves in a competitive job market and received valuable and current information about transitioning from College to the work force from industry experts. Panelist included Ms. Roxanne Bartley, Mr. Uday Lele, Ms. Vanessa Vazquez, Dr. Passard Dean, Mr. Charles “Copley” Gerdes and Mr. Motown Maurice. Industry sectors ranged from Entrepreneurial, marketing, Journalism, Accounting & Accounting Receivable Management. The event was well received by the students and faculty and there is already a tentative date for another in Spring 2010.
