Product Scotland: Networked and Programmable Products November 22, 2007

Digital Product Design is the design of products using embedded digital technology. In this workshop we will explore the notion of Digital Product Design, as described by Rogers and Hulbert (2007) . Central to Digital Product Design is embedded programmable technology using microcontrollers, sensors and actuators. We will describe the landscape and vocabulary of this emerging discipline using practical demonstration taking a “Hands-On” approach to designing for our digital product futures.
