This tour will examine the Metropolitan's well-known statue Haremhab as a Scribe of the King (ca. 1336–1323 B.C.), focusing on the significance of both the statue and its subject. Haremhab was commander-in-chief of the army under Tutankhamun and later became pharaoh himself.
