Primitive Pottery Workshop January 8, 2011

Prehistoric American Indians of the Southeast used local clays and primitive methods to make pots for cooking, water jugs, eating bowls, storage pots and art objects. Students can learn this ancient craft during this workshop, by using natural materials from the St. Francis River to make your own pottery vessels.
